Hi there Freespinner,

Verifying a site with Yahoo! requires a metatag or a file uploaded to the root directory which is not currently possible in Yola.
Verifying your site with a search engine such as Google or Yahoo is mostly for the purpose of getting statistics on your site, and not so much for indexing purposes.
We have made it very easy for you to verify your site with Google Webmaster and submit a sitemap, here is a link to the tutorial:
Verifying Your Site With Google Webmaster

Here is a link to our tutorial which has more information on this and other topics for promoting your site: Promoting Your Site.

It is possible with Yola....You just add the tag in properties at the end of description you can remove it after you verify ....It is very valuable as you then have access to their site explorer where you can submit your site maps remove old urls etc.For me it shows many inbound links that Google does not always show and I do like to see who is linking to me.... I was able to get rid of a couple of gambling sites linking to me using yahoo.

I put in the whole tag yahoo generated at the end of my description...Really I was grabbing at straws trying to verify on Yahoo and this just happened to work....If you need help to verify on Bing also let me know and I will help you out.
