I have already started creating the site. But, I can't do the things I want to do with this site. Me nor the other Developer here can do what we are trying to do with this site. So, I have already E-Mailed them, but I see Employees answer the question on here so I came here for an Employee.

The problem isn't with the Site itself. It is that I can't edit it like I want.

Hi Mike,

I'm sorry we're coming to this thread so late - we didn't receive the email notifications for some reason.

We cannot offer refunds on domains that have been registered. Your domain has been purchased and set up on your behalf, if you would like me to confirm, please post your URL.

Since we have already incurred the expense for this domain name with our domain registration partners, it is not possible to refund or change the domain name.

Our terms state: "You can not return or exchange your domain, all sales are final."

If you need help building your site or if you would like to transfer your domain name to another host, please let us know and we will gladly assist you.

Well, since I can not get a Refund, I will not be transferring it yet. I already found the site that I can do everything I need to do on. But, I guess I will have to wait a Year before I can Transfer. Thank You Anyway.

Hi Mike - sorry, I didn't answer your question correctly. You won't be able to access the source code of your site. You can add HTML using the HTML widget located on the right hand sidebar. If there's something you would like to do, perhaps you can give us more detail to see if it can be done in a different way.

Is there a reason we can not do this on Yola???? I never heard of not being able to do whatever you want on your own page.

Hi Mike,

You can easily point your domain to another service or transfer it away. Take a look at this tutorial http://www.yola.com/tutorials/dns-for.... If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hi Mike,

The domain name you bought belongs to you whether you build a site with Yola, or build it somewhere else using other site building software. Please email support@yola.com and we can discuss ways for you to transfer your domain name elsewhere. You do not need to stay with Yola if you do not wish to do so.

LOL. I am not trying to get smart. But, I understand I can go anywhere with my Site. I know that. But I can't get my Money back if I move my site. So, I am stuck with Yola for a Year. I am not going to pay another amount of money to another site when I can't get my money back here. But I think it is ashame that as the ownder of my site, you tell me what I can and can not do with my page. I do not agree with that at all. And I wish I knew that before I paid for the site with your company.

Mike what they are trying to say is that you can make an account with another company and transfer your purchased domain to them without waiting for a year!I don't think that you have to pay to transffer your domain.

And can you please tell me exactly what do you want to do with your site.Maybe I can Help.Or maybe others can help.Just tell us what do you want to be able to do with your site.

Hello Mike,

Mayank Nehru is correct.

You can make an account with another company and transfer your purchased domain to them immediately.

There is no charge for this from our side, but your new host may charge you for the transfer.

However, you can continue to have us manage your domain for you and point it to your new host by either using an A record or changing your name servers.

You can do this yourself under Advanced DNS Settings and there is no charge. For more information on how to edit your DNS settings, please take a look at this tutorial: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/dns-for...
