Hello Brian

To center your banner image, please try these steps:

1. Click on the banner area. This will bring up a dialogue box.
2. Click on resize banner.
3. Hover over your image until an cross comes up, click and drag the image until it looks centered in the box.
4. Once satisfied with the centering, then click on "OK".
5. Save your work.

I hope this helps.

I've always thought it would be handy if you could clcik an align center button while editing the banner.

Yes.. this would work if you added your image in the text widget or HTML widget. However this will not work for your banner area in the header.

If you added your image through either the text widget or HTML widget, you would need to do this:
<center><img src="http://yoursite.yolasite.com/resource...;

Thanks everyone. I finally realised that I had made the main picture on the first page wider than the banner. Resized the pic - no longer a problem.
