Hi Lisa,

Thats simply to do and you won't lose any content. Click on the first tab called "Site Manager", the page will open and you will see a list of your pages. Click on "rename" to rename your page. A dialog box will appear, edit the name and click on "ok". Your page name will be renamed.

Regards,
Kershnee

Hi Lisa

That is true unless the page you want to rename is your index page. Renaming your index page would prevent your site from being published sucessfully. For this reason SynthaSite does not support renaming your index page, but it does allows you to change the menu and hover text. (So the link in the menu can be whatever you like, the filnename just needs to stay "index")

For any other page it works the way Kershnee described.

Hi Gaby

One easy way to do this is to simply go to your "save" button. Click on "save as". Give this a new name that you'd like. You'll have two pages the same - one which was your index page and one that is under your new name. Then on your index page, you can delete the content and rebuild the page as you want.

Can I just ask a follow on behind littleus instruction. Are either of these pages blogs? If they are then the "save as" function won't work. It becomes somewhat complicated but there is a way to do it.

@{Thanks littleus}

Hi littleus and Peter

thank you for answering my question - so simple if you know "how" :-)
In fact the page was not a blog, so it was not a problem for me.

This support group is "The Best" :-)
Thanks again

Hello,
One thing to keep in mind when changing page names; if you have created links to the page you are renaming from other pages of your site, you will need to change those links to reflect the new page name; otherwise the link won't work.

Take care,
Emmy
