I don't know that you can other than adding the blog widgets yourself. Also, you can decide to delete the page and create a new one (as a blog) under that name. Just some suggestions. If you'd like the information on the page to stay there you might want to try adding the blog widgets yourself - I believe this is possible?!

These are the steps to turn your existing homepage into a blog page on your website.

1. If you would like to keep the current index page, click on the down-arrow next to "Save" and select "Save As" to save the page with a new name.
2. Click on "New Page".
3. Name the page "index" and select the "Blog Page" option.

You will get a message telling you that your index page already exists and asking if you want to overwrite it. Say "yes". This will replace your current index page with a blog page and your site will start on your blog page.

Please click here for a tutorial: Creating your blog with Yola.

**Please Note** While this method allows you to turn a new, blank blogpage into your homepage page, it is not possible to transfer a developed blogpage with content onto your homepage.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

If you do this - it will create a new blog page for you. You will still have the old one in your site builder. If you want to keep the content of your index page, then use the "save as" function to save your content as this will duplicate your page. I hope that answers your question.

Hello,
Unfortunately it is not possible to use the "Save Page As" feature on a blog page, this is only available on a webpage. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on that.

Hello Tanveerahmed2k8

I apologize for all the confusion. Hopefully I can clear things up.

If you want to change your index page to be a blog page, and you want to save the content you have on your index page, then you need to use the "Save as" function. Give this a new name. This will make a duplicate of the index page.

Then, select "New Page". You will need to name this page "index" and select the "Blog Page" option. Now you will get a message telling you that your index page already exists and asking if you want to overwrite it. Say "yes".

What this does is allow your site to start on a blog page instead of a webpage.

I hope this makes more sense. Please let me know if there is still some confusion regarding this.

The solution to this question kind of suck a** and blows! I noticed that you will need to copy and paste the whole thing on the webpage over to the blog page. It doesn't automatically bring the stuff you want on the webpage over to the blog page... which is so time consuming when you (especially me) want the change to go over automatically.

Hello,
Yes, unfortunately the data that you have on a "webpage" cannot be automatically transferred to a blog page. I am sorry we don't have an easier solution at this time.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
