Hello Lisa,

Thanks for your message! These are the steps to changing the order of your navigation:

1. Click on the "Edit Navigation" button on the top toolbar.
2. A dialog box will open and you will see the list of your pages in the left-hand pane under "Pages in the Navigation".
3. Click on the page you would like to move and drag-and-drop it to where you would like it to be.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further assistance!

I did that with a redirect page I had and it screwed up everything. Was it the fact that it was a redirect page? Nothing changed in the code and I still haven't been able to figure it out. I ended up making the page my index page, but now because the index page is being redirected the remainder of the site will never been seen.

How can fix this? I need serious help.

Hello Hatcheck Girl,
I just took a look at your site here: http://www.backyard-buddies.com/blog.php and the blog is what is coming up as your home page, is that what you are wanting? Can you tell us more about your unique situation with your site pages and we can try to assist.

Thanks,
Emmy

Initially my welcome page was the index page. www.backyard-buddies.com Which immediately sent you to the welcome page.

I had added another page, which was set to redirect to another site not since yola couldn't host it. Previously that was set as the last page on the website. I moved the last page (with the redirect) and made it the index page, so that when people go to the web address www.backyard-buddies.com they immediately are sent to the dating site. Which is really what we are all about.

However, since I did this there is now no way for anyone to reach the yola site for additional info. Unless they reach it through a fb page and then they can reach the blog page.

I have another domain name BBuddies.info, and was wondering is there someway I can use or set that up as a redirect to the other part of the site. So that when people want just info before they join the other site they can view the other pages: blog page, who we are, welcome etc.

I thought if I recreated the same pages using BBuddies.info I could pretty much recreate what I initially had on Yola with the .com address. Using the .info site as the site for people to get more info thereby keeping the .com as the users site.

Anyone still following this - ? LOL I know it's complex but when you don't know what or how these things actually work very it's difficult to communicate your logic to someone else where it makes any sense?

I'm open for suggestions here.

Hi Lisa,

I would really like to help get this worked out. What I see right now is that your index page redirects to http://debra.pilotgroup.mobi/, which is the dating site. I would like to better understand what you are looking to do here. Is there a reason that the redirect to the dating site page (http://debra.pilotgroup.mobi/) can't be on another page of your site. Am I correct in saying that all you want your current domain (http://www.backyard-buddies.com/) to do is go to the dating site?

If you were to use the .info domain name, are you hoping to put your other pages on this site and then link to it from the dating site page?

Let's work through this, I am sure we will get it :)

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Emmy this is Hatcheck Girl your response to was Lisa but contained my issue? LOL I'm surprised you guys keep up at all with all the questions you get.

You are correct mobi is the index page it used to be the last page of the website but it was move so that when you type in the web domain you get the redirect. Since that is what has been advertised. And people just weren't going to the redirect page I was loosing them. Only know no one can get to the other pages. So how do I get people to see or view the other pages if they get redirected immediately after entering domain? I have a domain with you BBuddies.info but my question is:

1) Can I design this to look like the current domain pages?
2) Then set SEO for that domain if people want just information about joining. Also I can set up a redirect from the mobi site back to BBuddies or the other pages within the .com site.

Perhaps this conversation should not have initially been addressed here, my mistake sorry, since it's more than just a drag and drop issue.

Hi Hatcheck Girl,
I'm sorry for directing my response to Lisa... oops :) I knew I was working with you.

Here's what I think, you have a domain name http://www.backyard-buddies.com/ and you want that domain name to automatically redirect to this other site. You also have the .info domain name that you want to have the rest of the pages to direct people back to. Instead of recreating the site, how about you:

1. Make a new one page website to look like your current home page that you will have the redirect on.
2. Unpublish your current site from your .com domain name and publish the new one page site with the redirect to the .com domain name.
3. Make a new home page for the other site and then publish it to the .info domain name.
4. Put a link on your mobi site to take people to the .info site should they want to go there for more info.

Thoughts?
