I would like to change the size of the boxes and widgets on my webpages, but I don't know how. I went into properties and was confronted by four boxes in the shape of a diamond and I know I'm supposed to put numbers in them, but I don't know what numbers I should use!!! I'm very new at this and I'm going to be forever grateful if someone could post a small tutorial on how sizes work on webpages.

Hi Kathie,

We welcome new users!

The four boxes change the placement or margins of the widget on the page and not the size of the widget. You should play around! Add a number like 10 or 20 for a small adjustment and change it back to 0 to the original location.

If the widget is from another website, the size is usually set there, before you copy the HTML code to paste back on your SynthaSite. We have a great tutorial which explains how this is done:

Hi Kathie

Marije has given you some good tips and directed you to our widgets tutorial, which touches on this. I just wanted to add that you have given us a great idea for a new tutorial, or an addition to our tutorial on layout and design. We will certainly look into this, as I can see how more explanation is required!

Best wishes
