I have found some HTML code to add to my text box, but what colour words are available> Is there a list of them somewhere?

This is what I got so far :

You can definitely add a background to a Text Widget! Here is some code that you can use:

This is where your text goes

You can drag a Text Widget onto your page, click on the HTML icon on the Text Editing Toolbar and paste in that code. Here is what the various pieces of the code do, each of which you can change to suite what you are trying to accomplish:

1. Width is how wide the area will be.
2. Height is how tall it will be.
3. Border is how thick it will be should you choose to have one, and after that you put the color of the border in this case solid red.
4. Background-color is the color of the background.
5. You can put the text you wish to appear where you see: "This is where your text goes".
6. Click OK.

Hello Jubeadilation

Here's the code that you're looking for :)

<!--<div style="border: 2px solid red; width: 400px; height: 211px; background-color: pink;">This is where your text goes</div> -->

Please don't include <!-- and -->.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with setting this up!

The question I have is what colour-words are available? Is there a list of them somewhere? Your code uses solid red and pink, but I can't just guess colour names can i?

Hi Jubeadilation,

You can insert colour codes (color: #F60 [instead of color: red])

codes can be found at: http://html-color-codes.com/

The solid red is not a colour, the solid part is the border type - you can have dashed and dotted aswell. The red is the colour. You can generally guess the colours but, using the colour codes will get a more precise colour for you.

Hi, Jubeadilation,

There are 147 color names defined. You can find a list here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_co...
