How do I create a page where I can list earthmoving equipment without using the paypal option?

I want to list available second-hand machines with a picture and small description next to it. The user must then be able click a button to request further information in which the user must supply their info and the system must email the webmaster the relevant info.

Please help?

Hi Graham, I think maybe you could put a link/button next to the item, a link that is to a new page on your site that contains a form, the form should be one that ask for all the information you will need to respond to their request...
--- so this way when they click the link/button, they are taken to the page where the form is, so they can request the information by filling out that form...

OR you can just put a form on each page underneath the items and tell the user to fill out the form below to request further information... This is also good if each page only contains one item... If it contains more than one, be sure to enter a form text box in which the person can type the name or ID of the specific product they are wanting...

Does anyone know of a code/program to implement where the viewer clicks the link/button and a small form pops up while the viewer remains of the same page? That would be good also... : )

Hi there Graham,

Yola_User_A's advice is what I would suggest - You can add images of your items and then link the images to a page with a contact form (or add a text link instead).

You can link the images as follows:

1. Add the image to your page, using the image widget.
2. Click on 'Properties' on the right-hand sidebar.
3. Click on 'Choose a Link' and make your selection.
4. Click on 'Apply'

To check that your link is working, preview your page and then click on the link.

This is a brief explanation of how to add links, we have written a tutorial that shows the process in more detail. Here is the link: Creating Links .

Once you have your page you want to link to, you can then add your form using the widget toolbox at the right hand side of the screen, and then click on the "Forms" folder. We have integrated with two great services that allow you to create custom forms for your site: Wufoo and Form Assembly. Both services offer free and paid plans, so you can select the one that is right for you.

These are the steps for adding a form:
1. When you drop a form widget on your page, a dialogue box will open up. Click on the link in the bottom right hand corner and you will be taken to the form service.
2. Sign up for an account and create your form.
3. When you are done click "Get Code."
4. Copy the HTML code (use Ctrl-C or highlight with cursor > right-click > copy) and paste it into the Yola dialogue box that opened when you dropped the widget (use Ctrl-V or right-click > paste to paste the code)

That's it, you will have your own custom form on your site and your responses will be managed in your Wufoo or Form Assembly account.

You can edit your settings on Wufoo or Form Assembly so that the information completed on your form is emailed to you, or you can visit your account to get the information on any forms completed.

Be sure to include links on your site at relevant points that will take your visitors to your contact form page (we have a link editor that allows you to do this). You can then either reply to them personally or post their comments directly onto your site.
