Hi Carl,

Thanks for your message. Yola Mail is not offered as part of the Get British Business Online program.

We will be offering an exciting Google Apps based custom mail solution in the future, however until this time you can take advantage of the free Google Apps service.

To set up your email using Google Apps please see this tutorial: Setting up your email with Google Apps.

HELP !!!!

I have followed the instructions as detail above and Google apps says it looks like your domain is configured incorrectly. I followed it to letter and when I go to MX records it says already verified using this method.

Please help.

May thanks Carl.

Hi Carl,

Google Apps offers a few different ways to configure your email. Please use the TXT record. Here are some steps that you will find helpful:
1. Log into your Google Apps account.
2. On the "Seup" page, click on "Verify Domain Ownership" and then click "Next" to begin.
3. On the next page, select the tab called "Alternate methods".
4. Select "Add a DNS record to your domain's configuration", and from the drop-down box select "Other".
5. This will generate the TXT record needed, it will look something like this google-site-verification=Ppe3KPDpl0D05MkiQdq5D-qGgBcv---Q1bjpZyFsR0x.
6. Select the TXT record, right-click and copy it.
7. Log into your Yola account and make sure you are on the My Yola page.
8. Click on "Domains" and, next to the domain you are using for your email address, click on "Advanced domain settings".
9. Click on "Change your DNS settings".
10. To add an TXT record, click on "Add DNS Record".
11. Select TXT from the dropdown menu.
12. Leave the "Name" field blank and paste the the TXT record to the "Value" field.
13. Click on "Update" to save the settings.
14. Go back to your Google Apps account and click on the "Verify" button that was visible on the same page as the Google Apps TXT record you've just added to your DNS settings. Google Apps will verify your domain and this may take anything up to 48 hours to complete (usually a lot quicker).

Please give this a try. If you are unable to add your TXT record, please let us know. We will be happy to add it for you.

I have already followed these steps as I mentioned in my last comment. If I try to repeat the step I get the message (as above) when I go to MX records it says already verified using this method.

Please advise

Carl

Hello Carl,
It's necessary to add 7 MX Records to your domain settings and if you would like to email me at support@yola.com I can made this addition for you. Please mark your email Attn: Emmy and I will pick it up. Also please let me know what domain name you are adding these records to.

Thanks,
Emmy
