How do i get a link to be smaller?

as in a link like this http://forum.yola.com/yola/example/yo... to this [link] just so it fits on my website and doesn't stretch out the boxes.

two ways. You can use a link shortening service... look 'em up in google.

Or you can type in text (not the whole link)

My Link

highlight My Link, then click the "link" button in the tool bar and add the link url there.

The other option (same as the second one here but different path) is to create the html for the link and put it into the html.

What you can do is create a text link. What this means is that you can put some text on the page and then turn the text into a link so the actual URL will not display on the page. Here is some information on how to do this: Creating text links.
