Hi Dominique

Domains are non-refundable as per our published refunds and cancellation policy. See: http://www.yola.com/terms

We send a series of renewal reminders for domains that are due for renewal and you are able to cancel at any time up till when the renewal goes through. However, if you do not do so you will not be eligible for a refund.

The automatic renewal is to prevent people from losing their domains. The terms of service regarding cancellation are in place to protect both the customer and the company. However, since we incur a cost for each domain that is registered we do require our customers to manage their subscriptions and let us know of any changes prior to renewal.
