Can someone please help me out! I am trying to figure out how I get my pictures attached to the pages I am developing for my site. I have them saved and waiting for me to use but I can't figure out how to apply them to the pages I am setting up for my site. All of my picture have been edited before they were uploaded so why do I keep getting redirected to picnik? I have set up a site before with Microsoft but I like the way things look at SynthaSite, so I am familiar with how things work somewhat. But for some reason I can get my pictures added to my pages.
One more thing. when I set up my domain name will it be ________@synthasite.com or ________.com , will people have to put in synthasite to find me or will I just have a regular domain name without the synthasite? Thanks for your help.

Hi Sparkart

It sounds like you are on the right track with your pictures. The message that says "edit with Picnik" is just to let people know that this can be done if they want to. If you have already edited your pictures you do not need to use Picnik.

To add them to your page, either drag and drop a text widget onto your page and click "insert image" on the text editing toolbar or drag and drop an image widget. In either case the file manager will open up and you can select the picture you want to add and click "ok" Let me know if you have any difficulty with this.

When you publish your site it is your choice whether you want to use a free SynthaSite subdomain or your own domain which you have purchased from a domain name registrar. For more information on this topic, please check out the following post in this forum:

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please get back to us if anything is still unclear.

I was not aware you could add a image to a text wiget, mine either go above or below the text, depending where I want them, but I am not able to insert the image into the text wiget, Can this really be done???? Regards Steel Thunder

Yes, you can add an image inside a text widget by clicking the "insert image" icon on the text editing toolbar. However, your text will be above or below the image. If you want the image and text side by side, try using the two column layout widget. Drop an image widget in the one column and a text widget in the other. You can resize the center column by dragging the green center axis on the two column layout widget.
