How do I get space around my photos?

When I upload a photo with text wrapped to the right or left, there's no space between the picture and the text. It looks really weird.

Is there an easy way of creating some space?

Hello Gina

We can definitely create a bit of space between the image and the text.

Click in the Text Widget which contains your Text-wrapped image. Click on the HTML button on your Text Editing toolbar.

Locate the img src tag which would look something like this:

<p><img style="margin: 4px; padding: 0px; float: left; font-weight: bold;" src="resources/yourimage.jpg?timestamp=1271811283425"> your text goes here</p>

What you want to change is padding: 0px

If your text is to the right of your image, then you'll change it to:

padding-right: 10px

If your text is to the left of your image, then you'll change it to:

padding-left: 10px

You can decide how little or big of a space you want by changing the 10px.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

I was looking for a simple, built-in solution, like the Properties available for Text. There is one at Yola HTML helper, but it requires uploading the photos first, and that means an extra step.

Please add this to my Wish List!

Thank you.
