Haha, thats funny Peter. Ruth beat us to it though.

The only access to the HEAD section of your site is through
the properties sidebar in the sitebuilder, and the only code
that you may edit are the meta tags. Description, keywords, etc.
It also depends what you trying to add Charles.
Chances are there may be a work around.

Hi Charles,

You don't have access to the head section of your page, but if you tell us what you are trying to do, perhaps we can suggest an alternative.

I put the following code from amazon into a html widget but nothing happens.
<!--

<script type="text/javascript"><_!--
amazon_ad_tag = "octsgui-20"; amazon_ad_width = "728"; amazon_ad_height = "90";//--_></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/s/ads.js"...>

-->

Any idea why?

Thank's by the way.

ps. the underscore "_" after "" is just to prevent the code from dissapearing

What is this code from Amazon? Can you give us the url where you got the code from so that we can take a look at it? Also.. can you please share with us your site url so that we can see what's happening? Thanks.

Hi Littleus,

I just figured it out.
It actually worked. I just don't see it in in the sitebuilder, but I see it when I open the site. I realized it a little bit late.

Thank's anyway.
And thank also to others who read and think for a while because of this silly thing.

Hi there I am trying to add a sign up and register to my website and found this site but it says: - You can use this code to protect your member's pages from being bookmarked and accessed without using your login page. To protect your pages, please cut-n-paste this code into each page you would like to protect. When installed, this JavaScript code will automatically determine if a user has a valid session and if not, it will redirect to a login page or any other page you define in your account settings.

Insert this code somewhere in your document's header (between the and tags):

I HAVE NO IDEA where this header is, can someone help?

Hi Craig

We actually don't have access to the head. What people have done that seems to work is to simply paste the code into an HTML widget and place up high on their page. Please try this on a test page first so ensure that it doesn't cause any problems.

Hi there thanks for your reply. I did try and put this at the top of one of my pages but it doesnt seem to work which is a real pain as I need to protect all of my pages apart from the home page. It would be good if a login in and register button was added to the site to help us with our websites.

If you're simply wanting to put a password on your pages which only allows certain people to have access if they know the password, you can achieve this.

Go into your site manager and scroll down to the bottom. You'll see "Site Password Protection". Click on that and then you'll see a box of all your pages. Enter in a username and password and check off which pages you want to password protect and then update your site.

Is this what you're looking for?

I understand... this is a feature that has been requested by many users. Yola is aware of this feature request. In the meantime, people have used Google Connect as an alternative. Perhaps, this would work for you?
