I was looking to edit my webpage but wanted to check out the new designs first before I did and now its not letting me go back to what I had originally, is there a way to resolve this or does it go back automatically after awhile?

Hi,

This is an issue.

If you have made any customisation to your original design and then tried out a new design, the customisations of things like banners and custom menu are not carried through. So when you then go back to your original these customisations can be lost also.

To go back to your first choice then if you haven't saved the change you can use the revert function within the Style facility. If you have saved/published then this function may not work and you need to remember the first selection and re-select that Style.

The try and see function of the Styles isn't suitable for design review after the fact but only in the first selection process. We're hoping that Yola will bring this functionality in.

Glad it worked out for you. Would be nice to see your site when you are ready to show it. Photography sites are always enjoyable to explore.

I can show it now but I've been thinking of doing an update just type in this: orion-photography-studios.co.uk I like how I had it but now I'm thinking I want to add more colour and sort out the pictures in my personal section so its less messed up (and finally add art) I do a lot of children's pics but because I'm fussy on child security the ones on my site are the ones I've been given a signed permission slip from the rest are all locked on my Facebook account C: one of the things I'm told people like that no-one else can view there kids pics C: and I need to post new pictures there too so expect some changes to happen and any feedback to give me would be great as I take it as a learning experience C:

It's a very nice site OPS. Your work is very sensitive, the fun elements come out well and your use of the Yola Gallery just shows how well this can be used to really showcase your creations.

I was a little put off by the hover text on each image. My feeling is that you don't need to put a negative statement on creative celebration work like yours. A copyright notice on your page is a noticed warning. I doubt that a pan placement would have any more effect than the single copyright advice (?)

The thing that does come through, which is your stated objective is the calmness, there's also vulnerability , both endearing. I wish you great success with your site and your new direction. Kindest regards,

Gop.
