How do I include a Buy Button inside a blog post?

I have an account with paypal and have created my buttons and webstore (I actually did this before synthasite started providing the Online Store widget).

I want to make blog posts about the artwork I am offering, in order to include a broader description of the items, and additional info. I want to have a buy button right there on the post. I've been pasting the paypal button code into the post, using the "edit HTML" option. When I turn off "edit HTML" and go back to text editing, the button is there briefly and then disappears. If I preview the post, the button does not show up. If I go back to edit HTML, the button code is gone as well. HELP!

I can paste the code here in case that's helpful.

thanks!

Hello,
Unfortunately it is not possible to put that type of code into an individual blog posting. I wish I had better news for you.

Regards,
Emmy

I can't guarantee it; but it is worth suggesting! We want to make Synthasite the very best it can be and as useful as possible to users, so always take the desires of the people who use it into consideration! I will pass this along to the team as a feature request.

Thanks and happy v-day to you as well!

Perhaps an option would be to create a separate page with the 'Buy Now' button (remember to remove it from your menu) and link to it from text in your blog post.
