How do i know someone has bought something from my online shop?

I have purchased the online shop, put my items up and published to the web. But how do i know if someone has bought something? I did a test run and nothing came up via my email?

Hello Rebecca,

You will receive notification by email from your payment gateway. It does require that you setup the email address that you wish to receive notification on. This is all part of the Store config setup and the details on your PayPal account or similar.

There is also a log kept within the store of products sold etc.

Finally you can configure your SMS service to send a text message to your phone.

Thanks. Could there be any issues with this as I tried to 'buy' something on my website on a different computer with different email address details to check if it was working and I never received a confirmation email to my normal email that someone had bought something. However I did receive an email on the 'fake' account saying that I had purchased something from the website....

I think your first check should be the registered email for your store admin.

If you are already in the Store within the sitebuilder then please click on

Edit → Manage Store → Advanced Options → System Settings → Mail → Admin notifications.

or if you are in My Yola:

(My Yola) → Online Store → Advanced Options → System Settings → Mail → Admin notifications.

Please check the address there and see if it's correct.

PS: You are aware that you will incur costs for any trial purchases unless you have switched your gateway onto a sandbox??
