This is interesting ... Don't know if you can link to another domain, but do know you can transfer it. FYI ... Pretty new at this stuff, but in a short period time I have learned a lot. To get started I choose a host provider not many days ago and decided they couldn't provide what I needed. Decided to go with Yola, but have not official done it yet. Have learned to play around with all their stuff first before I give them any money. After dropping my past host provider I want to see if I could transfer my domain name to Yola, but the past host provider told me I would have to wait 60 days. I couldn't believe it. Maybe you already know this and if I am taking your time sorry. The 60 days wait is set by the "ICANN" and host providers have to go by their rules. It is all spelled out. Good luck.

The no transfer within 60 days is an ICANN ruling affecting all domain registrars. You can still publish to this domain by pointing that domain to Yola's servers using A records. This is a non transfer process. Publish to a domain you already own

After the 60 days then you can transfer the domain to Yola. It will require another payment for a years subscription but the subsequent renewal period will be credited pro-rata on the Yola subscription rate for your domain. eg: If you purchased this domain 30 days ago and you transfer it in another 30 days then you will lose 10 months registration value as you will need to pay for another 12 months registration. When the domain comes around for renewal then you will be offered some credit by Yola for the subsequent registration fee. Overall nothing lost just a double payment initially.
