I would like to have people leave their email address in return for some free information. How do I get the email submit button to take people to another page that would give them the free information?

Hi Hermetist,

I would suggest adding a Wufoo form to capture this info. Wufoo offers both free and paid options, so you can select the option that is right for you. When someone fills in your form their message will be stored in your Wufoo account and you will receive an email alert to let you know that you have a new message. You will find the Wufoo widget in the "Forms" folder in the Content sidebar in SynthaSite.

After dragging and dropping a Wufoo widget onto your page in SynthaSite, click on the link in the dialogue box sign up for the account with them if you have not already done so.

Then follow these steps on Wufoo:
1. Select the form you wish to use
2. Click on save form
3. The form manager will open up
4. Click on "notifications" - enter your details as to where you wish the info to get sent to (ie. your email address)
5. Click on save
6. Click on save settings
7. Click on code
8. Copy and paste the code in the Wufoo widget dialogue box in SynthaSite

Your Wufoo form will then be embedded on your page and you can begin collecting information from your visitors directly from your website!

Here's how to add links to your page:

1. Drag and drop a text widget onto your page.
2. In the text widget type the words that you want people to click on (this is your link text).
3. Highlight the link text and then click on the link button (it's the 10th button from the left in the text editing tool bar, and looks like the link in a chain).
4. A link editor dialogue box will open up and you will be given 4 options. You can link to an email address, an external URL, a page on your own site or a file on your computer.
5. Click on and edit the option appropriate for you.

You will then have a link on your page. To check that your link is working preview your page and then click on the link.

This is a brief explanation of how to add links, we have written a tutorial that shows the process in more detail. Here is the link:
