I'd like to put downloadable PDF files and MP3 files on my site. Is this possible? And if so, how is it done?

Also, could one be able to charge downloaders for these files?

Hello Paul,

You can do this using the File Widget! Drag the File Widget onto your page and you will be able to choose the files from your File Manager or from your computer. The file will then be on your site and your site visitor will be able to open it on their computer.

If you are wanting to sell downloadable products, this is not something Yola has a the moment. Here is a link to another thread with information on how you can do this with PayLoadz: Selling digital products.

Let me know if you have any trouble with this.

I'm having a hard time finding the File Widget. I assumed it's in the Widgetbox Gallery, but it's eluding me. Is it just me, or is it hiding somewhere sneaky? :-)

Here's a screenshot Paul. Hopefully this will help you to locate the file widget.

Thanks, Littleus. Now I feel dumb . . . it was right under my nose. Excuse me while I hide in the closet for a little while.

Oh, I get it! I didn't know you could drag that. I thought it was just a button. *D'oh!* Thanks, Boomer.
