I always include tags on my pictures because google search indexes them and that brings additional traffic. I know how to do this on my website just click on the picture then click properties.

But when I post an image in a blog post it does not allow you to do this. Does anyone know if I can put a tag in the code on my blog post?

I believe you can add an alt tag to your image code. Go into your HTML and find your img src="resources/image.jpg" Then, add the following after your image tag: alt="your tag".

It would end up looking like this:

<img src="YOUR SITE DOMAIN/resources/YOUR IMAGE FILENAME.JPG" alt="YOUR TAG GOES HERE">

Hi Casey,

I googled for a way to add meta tags to images but had no look:(. One thing I did notice is that on your computer if you select the properties of an image you can add keywords to the image, if this is the same as meta tags. You can also do this in adobe photoshop. Also a Mac application called Aperture has a tab where you can add metadata to it, though I doubt you have this software.

Hope this helps!
