Hi mich6,

Can you please post the url of your site. Sounds like you would like some help with your design.

Probably, Mich6 wants a blank page instead of a template

Thats what I thought but I was waiting for him to reply which
he never seems to do.

Mich, if you are looking for a blank page, use the redplanet
template an upload a blank (white) banner.
1) Click on edit menu in the site editor.
2) Drag all your pages out of your site menu.
3. Create "new buttons" for your "new menu's" and link them
to your pages.

What a cool idea. Never thought about adding a blank white banner before, in effect, to 'remove' the banner / page header.

Good thinking, Boomer!

Not my idea
I think either Ruth or Marije have copyright on that one.
Thought it was an excellent idea though.

Yeah i remember lot of discussion on this "blank template" topic.
There somewhere we have discussed about this blank banner as well.
I still wish we could have a BLANK template to work on.

I think that really is the solution -- a blank template. Quite a few people have asked for it, over a period of time.

There are a few options if you would like a "blank" style. The following styles are plain white with background color/image options:

1. CleanSlate
2. BareNecessities
3. NoFrills
4. SqueakyClean

I didn't remove the entire banner, but used a negative top margin to move my custom menu bar closer to the banner than what the template allowed.

In your html widget, add a style setting, making the top margin a negative number to make your widget appear higher. Not sure if it would fill up the entire banner space, but worth a try. It may take some trial and error to get it just right.
