How do i remove my credit card info from the payment information?

I want to remove my credit card from the payment information screen, it says i have to add another payment method but i have paid for a year and will incur no more charges and dont want my information stored.

How do i do this?

Hello Justin

Even if we store your payment details, we will not charge you for anything that you haven't agreed to or that you haven't purchased additionally. Also, your payment details are safe with Yola.

If you'd still like to remove your stored payment methods, you will need to cancel auto-renewal of both your hosting package and your domain. Before they expire, you will see a renewal reminder in your Yola account and get reminder e-mails to renew.

To cancel your hosting package please follow these steps:
  1. Log in to My Yola.

  2. Click on “Account”, in the left-hand menu.

  3. In your Account Information, click on "Cancel".

  4. Confirm that you would like to turn off auto-renewal.

Auto-renewal for your Yola Silver subscription will be canceled.

To cancel your domain please follow these steps:
  1. Log in to My Yola.

  2. Click on “Domains” in the left-hand menu.

  3. Under the “Status” heading your auto-renewal status will be indicated. To turn off auto-renewal, click cancel and confirm that you would like to turn off auto-renewal.

Auto-renewal for your domain will be canceled.

I dont want to cancel though? i simply want to remove my payment information why is a simple question so difficult for anyone at yola to answer?

I have paid for a year and my yola silver expires march 13th 2013.
i simply want to cancel any renewal of the online store widget for the £7 a month. As i have already said that i have created the exact same store for free and am no longer using the £7 a month store widget.

I have also cancelled the online store account with the £7 a month store inventory on it and customer services has confirmed it is still active????.

Let's stick to this thread to communicate, it's getting difficult to keep track of your different requests on various channels.

I have checked your account enquiries@mjstradeoutlet.co.uk, and can share the following information with you in terms of this account:

1) With regard to your Online Store cancellation:
I can confirm that the auto-renewal of your Online Store is turned off, and it will expire on 12/04/2012. It will not be renewed after that date, and you will not be billed any more for the store.

2) Your domain is active until 12/03/2014 and auto-renewal is turned off.

3) Your Yola Silver package is active until 13/03/2013 and auto-renewal is turned on. So what I understand from your posts and e-mails is that you want to turn auto-renewal for Yola Silver off as well, correct? If so, you will need to cancel your Yola Silver hosting package. There is no difference between cancelling it or turning off auto-renewal for it. It doesn't mean it will be cancelled immediately, but expire on its currently set expiry date.

As soon as you have cancelled everything, you will be able to remove your stored payment details if you wish to do so. But, as I said, it won't be necessary because auto-renewal is turned off for every service you get from us.

Hi,
I have the same problem my bank details are still there and that is an old company account from my old job, I've requested they take it down for over 6 months but there still there!
I followed what you asked above and it just asks for alternative payment details! I don't want to cancel the accnt but I need those details taken off. everything to do with my card details on yola.
Can you do this as no-one seems to be answering my request via email?

Could you please let me know which e-mail address you used when you sent your e-mail request to our support?

If you have a running subscription with us, it is not possible to remove your stored payment details. But you can edit out-dated payment details by following these steps:
  1. Log in to your Yola account.

  2. On your My Yola dashboard, click on "Payment methods" below the "Account" tab in the left-hand side navigation menu.

  3. In the box that shows your payment method, click on the "Edit" link in the top right corner.

  4. You will now be able to change your payment method.

I have the same problem but I can't see any cancel button in Accounts Information Tab. Please let me know how can i turn off AUTO RENEWAL
