How do I remove the Page Heading from the site, or at least Change the font? It's annoying and makes the site look unprofessional and ugly. The page heading abstructs the personally and specifically made banner.

You can remove the page heading from your page as follows:

1) Click on it directly on the heading.
2) In the box that drops down, delete the text and replace it with a single space.

You will then have no page heading. So while you can't change the font at this time, hopefully this workaround will allow your banner to look the way you designed it.

Let me know if you have any trouble with the above.

Monique, I'm having the same difficulty. Is there a CSS command to completely remove the heading? Leaving it blank is not enough as it pushes the banner image down from the top of the screen.Thanks!

Hey Sanja, http://www.6turned9.co.uk/

In chrome I looked at the "inspect element" feature and the height seems to be defined by the header and logo id's but simply changing them to 0px in the CSS editor dosnt have any effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Gary,

Thanks so much for your patience. I believe I have fixed this up for you. Please take a look in your Sitebuilder to see the change. If this looks good, then you can click on the green "Publish to the web" button to apply the changes.

Hi Sanja,

I'm having the same issue as Gary and I was hoping you could share how you completely deleted the heading section of his site so that the main graphic is not pushed down, leaving an empty space at the top of my site.

I've made a bunch of edits to the design that haven't been published yet, so please be mindful not to change those.

Thanks!

Hello Kate,

Please add this code to your Site CSS:

div.ys_banner_wrap {
margin:-660px auto 0;

}

You can adjust the numbers to increase or decrease the gap.

I hope this does the trick for you!

Hey Sanja, thank you for removing the heading! Very much appreciated. I've messed up the alignment now! ha haaa. I obviously have no idea what im doing. The main body was too low so i tried to change the height, got it to move up but now the width padding is skewed. Could you possibly have a look at it for me? Cheers! http://www.6turned9.co.uk/

Hi Gary and eriklintmalm

Please also note that Yola has recently introduced a handy feature to edit (or remove) your page heading(s) and to apply your changes to all pages. For more information please see our new tutorial How do I edit the page heading font attributes?.
