Hello, if you messed up on the meta tags you didn't have to erase all of your pages. You could of just changed your meta tags and they will change in Google about 2 days after you change.

If you just delete your site, your domain will still be on your site.

To delete it first go to the site manager tab.

Then right under the list of your pages, you will see 2 links. Click the red one that says "Delete this site"

A dialog will appear. To make sure that you actually want to delete your site, you must type in the letters D E L E T E to confirm that you want to delete your site.
(To Yola: Great job on that! Some site builders just have you click OK to delete a site!)

Once you type in those letters, the OK button will be enabled.

Click it after you have done this and it will delete your site.

Please note: You didn't have to delete all of your pages and redo your site to change the meta tags. You could have just changed them and then published it and then a couple days later, they would appear on Google. Also once you change your title tags, just Save your page and then publish your site for it to appear live on the web.

I hope this helps.

Hello PogosP

It will take time for Google to re-crawl your site and update the changes you have made to your metatags. So, even if you did delete your site, the information would still be indexed. I just encourage you to continue working in the site you have, put in the new metatags and the next time Google crawls your site, the new information will be indexed.
