How do I use all the space on each side?

Why is there extra space on the right and left hand sides of my site that I cannot use? I would like my banner photo to be all the way to the right so I can have more room for my title.

Hi sherrie123,

Different styles have different size spaces for you to work in. Right now the right and left side area of the style you've selected is not available. If you want a style that has more space, you can find one by clicking on "Change Style" at the top.

Thanks Marije,
I looked through the templates, and the one we are currently using looks like it would go to the end, so I am unsure if the others that look like it would. How many times can I change my style, and if I do change the style, am I going to loose anything from my current site? is there any way to revert back to the original if I can't find a better one?
Thanks again
Sherrie

Hi Sherrie123,

You should always save before making a major change, but you can change templates/styles without losing information except if you have uploaded your own banner image with one of our styles. If you change styles or color palettes you will need to re-insert the banner image. Simply click on the white instruction box, highlight the image in the file manager and click "ok", or upload a new image if you wish.

Of course, if you are not using a custom banner image then you have nothing to worry about and you can change styles freely without worrying about losing your work.

Hi Kershnee,
Thanks. Unfortunately I am using a banner image, and we have probably 50+ pages. :( Do you have any suggestions for templates that use the whole width of the screen?
Thanks
Sherrie

You could try CleanSlate, Barenecessities, Frozenage, or No Frills - they are on the first page of the Style library. Redplanet, Squeakyclean and Tastelessly may also suit your needs.

I hope this helps.
