I know HTML and have a layout for a site already planned and just need a host, so I joined this site. But, I'm having a really hard time finding a box where I can just edit, put in my code and it'll work. It seems like you can only use the SynthaSite templates, is this true? If not can someone tell me where to input my coding?

Hello Halie,
Right now you need to select your style from our style library. We are working on adding more and better styles/templates with more customization options.

Currently you can change the banner image, colour palette and background image on some of our styles. We want to make more options available like this, and one of our future plans is to allow you to develop your own CSS style if this is something that interests you. However, this functionality is going to take significant engineering on our part, so it is still a little ways into the future. In the meantime I hope you can find a style to suit your needs.

You may be interested in this link: SynthaSite Style Guide. It has a handy filter function for you to see which style you might like. You can also check out this site forsite.synthasite.com, where one of our SynthaSiters has added a page to his site comparing styles.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Of course I would prefer if there were just a blank site option and I could do whatever I wanted to it, but thanks for responding.

So what you're saying is that there's absolutly no way to "Hard Code" your own site if you want to? Well, that's a feature that's gonna deffinatly keep me from buying webspace here looks like..

Hi Garry,

That is correct. I'm sorry we weren't able to meet your needs.
