How do I use the html function/widget? When I have code I need to embed, or things I wish to display, do I first open and insert the html widget onto the page I want, then copy the code onto it?

The html opens up to one big open page -- I don't have a clue what to do next, where to place it, what to place on it, etc. (I use Yola because I DON'T know about html code.)

One example of an immediate project need: I was sent a slide show on Smilebox. (another cool program.) I need to insert it onto a page with related content already on my site. There is code for embedding, code for linking, and more. Which do I use to have this slide show show up on my page? And how do I insert it? Thanks so much!

Hello KK,

here is a Yola Tutorial which gives an excellent background to the use of widgets including widgets used for embedding HTML into your site .

Hi KK,

Peter has give you a great link to check out.

Here are some tips that may also help you.

1. Drag-and-drop an HTML widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page (the icon for this is a blue sphere).
2. An HTML editor will open up that will allow you to write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or ctrl-V to paste).
3. When you are done, click "OK" and your HTML will be displayed on the page.

Hi Yitbarek,

Can you tell me what happens if you click on "Edit", on left hand side of the green bar at the top of the widget. Does the editor still not open?

Also, could you let us know which browser you are using?
