I'm able to change the background color, but the inner box that outlines the page...how can you change that color? Also, how can you change the color & font of the page heading? Why isn't there an option to upload our logo?

Hello Monet,

There isn't a feature that changes the outline of the page, but just the background. Can you tell us what style you are using, possibly we will be able to offer some other suggestions.

If you would like to change the font color and size of your page heading, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Go to the "Properties" tab.
2. In the box under "Page Heading", enter the font code which would look like this:
<!--
<font color="#5dc4d3" size="10">heading goes here</font>
-->

Note: Remove the <! -- and -->.

Replace the "5dc4d3" with the hex value number of the color you want. Please refer to our HTML Color Code Chart for web friendly colors.

You can change size of the your font by replacing the number "10". You can enter a numeric value from 1- 10. Please keep in mind, that by changing the size, your page heading may shift down closer to the bottom of your banner area.

Here is a link to a Knowledge Book with more information on adding a logo to your banner area: Adding a logo to the banner area.

I hope this will help!

Thank you Emmy. I will look it all the suggestions you've made. I just started this and now have even more respect for web designers. This is not my area of expertise and have everything written down in my notebook to what I want, but sitting here trying to figure it out on these templates is difficult for me. If I were to start the process, could a designer still add to the template? There's other content I want on the right hand side of the template and also be able to add advertising,

Hello Monet,
Yes, you could have someone else work on your site at a later time, you would just need to provide them with your username and password.

Unfortunately it is not possible to add content outside of the body region of the style.

The reason for the styles having this region is to to prevent people with smaller screens from having to scroll horizontally to see your page. This is something most people find very annoying, so we have tried to use styles that will look good on everyone's computer as much as possible.

You can definitely add advertising to your site in the future. Here is a link with more information on this topic: Adding advertising to your site.

Hope this helps!

Yes, that was very helpful. Thank you for your quick response. I also apologize, but did mean to stay with the body region of the site. I was just referring to being able to create a skyscraper ad on the right hand side of the site. I hope flash is also included in the advertising details. Thanks again!

Hello,

Yes, you can add skyscrapter ads such as with Google AdSense to your site, you'll find more out about this when you sign up for a Google AdSense account.

Here is a link with more information on how to embed flash files: Adding flash to your site.

Hope this helps!

Hi robertbear
The navigation bar titles are designed to suit the style template you are using. I can understand that you would like to be able to change the color of your menu text to suit the rest of your site. You may need to wait a little while for us to release the CSS customization so that you are able to do this!
