How do you do this?

While looking up the swine flu on the CDC website I noticed a unique map. On this map there are 44 states and the rest of the states is completely disappeared (doesn't show at all)... I want you to take a look at the map if you can... and tell me how I can do this assuming I knew where my visitors came from. How can I show ONLY the states or parts of the world the visitors are? I'm interested in knowing how to do this with the map... NOT how to determine where my visitors are from. http://cdc.gov/h1n1flu/

oh... I misread the map... that map does include every state... it's just split up... but it looks pretty cool.

that would be cool if we could have a similar map with the number of visitors (overall) from each location.

Hi Donald,

This may not be totally what you are looking for, but perhaps it's a start. Here is a link to a map will show where your visitors have come from: http://www.clustrmaps.com/

Paste you URL into the box provided and then type your email address into the box underneath that. ClustrMaps will create a map for your site and email you the HTML code.

Once you have received an email from Clustrmaps, copy the code from your email and paste it into a HTML widget in Yola. The map should then display on your site. It will show the number of visitors you receive and their location.
