Since you have an actual store it would help you greatly to have your city and state in your window/page title on your home page. Then join Google Places and link to your site. This helps you place much better in local search

Awesome product! Blueish colour and shades work well. I'd change font, its colour and size to a less heavy and predictable one, to some more contemporary looking like Gill Sans or Arial. Also, spelling needs to be checked once again. Pictures are informative and nice size, just need a litle bit of photo-shop editing to make them popped up.

Hi Chelsea,

I noticed that you are using a Serif style font. These can be less than ideal in rendering on Windows based computers and for this reason the global recommendation is to use sans-serif fonts. I agree with Ben that another choice of font would probably enhance a very good web-site.

In a nutshell, here are some of the key points in using sans-serif fonts.

  • Sans-serif fonts look good at most sizes.

  • They tend to have a more contemporary or business feel.

  • Most operating systems render them neatly.

  • Serif fonts tend to lose readability at smaller sizes.

  • Serif fonts, when viewed on a Windows computer, may look terrible. This is because Windows has a ClearType ability that smoothes the edges of screen fonts, which would make the serif fonts look good, but many Windows computers don't have this option turned on by default.

  • Sans-serif fonts, on the other hand, can look good with or without Windows' ClearType turned on.
