Hi Asira,

If you are choosing to publish on the "synthasite.com" domain it should take a couple of seconds for us to check if the name you have chosen is available.

Are you experiencing something different to that?

I have checked from a number of accounts and from my side the check is taking less than a second. If possible, please try again and see if you are still having problems.

If you are, let me know the name you are trying to check for.

I have tried the name neoworld and others and it still doesn't work. Do you need a certain computer or browser?

It should work with most browsers and on all computers. Which browser are you using.

Neoworld comes back as available is no time for me, so we are looking at something specific to your environment.

How are you connecting to the internet - is it your own PC or do you share it with others?

I am also on a Mac and have just checked from Safari - I had no problem. Many of our engineers actually use Mac/Safari as their main platform, so it is a well-tested combination.

Does your problem occur no matter what domain you try? I would the answer is yes.

Very sorry this is happening to you. I will brainstorm with a few of the guys and see if we can make any suggestions as to what the cause would be.

The only reason we can think of for this behaviour is that there is something very specific about your browser configuration that is preventing the function from working.

A quick was to see is to try another browser. Do you have Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com//firefox/) installed. If so, you could try using that and see if the problem occurs there as well.

Hi there - did you remember to click on the yellow 'Update my Site' button? This makes sure your site is republished and the changes take effect on your live site.

You could also be seeing a cached version of your updated site, try clicking on refresh, that could also work!

If it's still not working, please could you send an email to us - support@synthasite.com

Regards,
Marije
