Hi safi,

I am not sure if you need information about how to rename your subdomain, or transfer a domain between registrars - they're quite different processes.

If you would like to change your subdomain, you can go through the steps of unpublishing your site. Here's a link to a tutorial about that: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article....

If you are transferring a domain, it takes 60 days.

Hope that helps!

If you want to change your sub domain name, all you have to do is click the arrow on the green "Publish to the Web" button and then click on "Publishing settings" and a dialog will pop up and in that click on "Edit your subdomain" and a dialog will pop up and you can type in your domain.

Please keep in mind if you change your sub domain name you will need to update all external websites linked to your current domain name.

Hope this helps.

Hello

That was what an employee said, and they are correct.

It may take 5-10 days on another domain register but on www.Yola.com it is 60 days.

If you see, it says "EMPLOYEE" on Justine's profile picture.

Justine is an employee of Yola, and she is right.

Hello felixabueno and Nathan,

I would like to clear things up for you both. Domain transfers can take up to 12 days to take place. I believe the '60 days' that Justine was referring to was in regards to the number of days you need to have had your domain purchased for before a transfer can take place. I am sorry if this has come across unclear to you.

All of this information is referenced in our domain transfer tutorial. Feel free to take a peek at it and let us know if you need any further clarification.

Ah, thanks Brianna. I forgot that the 60 days was just how long it had to be registered.

Thanks
Nathan
