Hello,
I have recently encountered some problems. I have created my website using Synthasite, but the homepage that I have created is taking very long time to load as I put some videos and graphics of large file size. I'm wondering if I can put up a progress bar or page with the message" please wait" while my homepage is loading. Thanks very much for anyone who is able to help me with that.

Hi Bruce,

I've looked for an answer for you and it seems that "please wait" messages or progress bars use code that has to be added to the Head section of your page. Unfortunately you don't have access to the Head section on SynthaSite.

If anyone else has seen something or uses code that works, please jump in!

An alternative is to move the slow loading content to another page of your site and have links to those pages. Or you can reduce the file size of the graphics so that they load a lot faster (you can use the "Edit" option in the File Manager to access Picnik and reduce the size).

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much! I guess I just have to cut down some videos and pics. Anyway, I like Synthasite very much, not only for the features offered by the service but also the terrific customer service!
