Hello Tanya

It is possible to add text to your banner, but you will need to create a custom banner to do so. Take a look at this tutorial for more details: Creating a banner image. If you use one of the programs recommended in the tutorial, you will be able to add text to the banner image.

You can add multiple lines to your page heading using a bit of HTML. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Open your site in the Sitebuilder.

  2. Click on "Edit Heading" in the banner area. You will see the screen pop up where you can add your heading.

  3. Add your text like this:
first line of text<br>second line of text

  4. Click "Set Page Heading" to add the text to your page.

If you want to play around with other ways to change the text in your heading, you may find this tutorial helpful: How do I edit the page heading font attributes?.

Remember to save your page and publish your site so that it shows on the internet.

I hope this works for you! Let us know if you need more help or have any questions.

Thank you

Thanks Nazlie,

That's really helped.

I've managed to add a line under the heading but I would like to make the font smaller. Do you know what the css code is to change header font size and style?

Thanks

Hi Tanya

I'm glad to hear that it worked for you!

If you'd like to make the font smaller, you can use this code:

<font size="5">first line here<br>second line here</font>

Adjust the "size=5" to change the font size. A larger number will make the font bigger and a smaller number will reduce the font size.

Good luck!
