My art blog page at http://bit.ly/87FNQI has a number of photos posted in J's Easel Notes Category and is getting very long. I finished that particular painting taking 11 segments. Now I am starting another Category called Family Affair WC which is making the page even longer. Every time I save the page it takes longer and longer to complete. Question: Is there a way to archive my first painting so the current painting topic only is showing? Thanks for any help you can give. Jan

Hello Jan

I'm hoping that I understood you correctly!

If you wish to change the way that your blog posts are displayed on the page, you need to do the following:

1. Click "Edit" on the widget tool bar of the blog post. That will bring up a "Customize your blog display" option and you will be able to make your selections there.
2. You will then be able to select the number of posts displayed on the first page, or whether to expand all posts, the first post only, or collapse all posts.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood.

Hi Sanja,

Thanks so very much. It worked perfectly. It was the only thing I missed trying. Just brain dead. I do have another small problem I have been trying to fix for about an hour. Can you guide me or even go into my site... I was trying to implement the Disqus Comment tool. I am completely stuck now. I have the code and pasted into the Disqus box and then pasted into the html widget on my blog page, blog 4 all artists hearts. I put disqus thread # they say to paste... I put it right into the actual post that I just completed. I even put the html comment code right at the end of my art post called Family Affair Bald Eagles #2 Still nothing works! I have a feeling I done all the wrong things. Can you help me on this too?

Blessings,

Jan

Hi Jan

I'm glad to hear that I understood you correctly!

In regards to your Disqus comments, it would appear that you have successfully implemented this.

Please take a look at my screenshot:

Is there something in particular that does not seem to work for you?

Hi Jan

If you're create a link where it displays the number of comments you have for a particular blog post - this will need to be added to each blog post. However, your comment box should only need to be added the one time.
