I remember years ago I was able to blog if I wanted to. But I cannot find that option on here.
I know you integrated with tumbler. If I were to use tumbler, than what would be the point of using this site then.
I had a site on here for about a year. It works good for a site, but not a blog.

Hi John,

We have removed the blog feature for new accounts so we can focus purely on our website builder. Legacy accounts can continue to add blog pages but new accounts do not have the ability to do so and instead are able to use our Tumblr widget. Other members have also used iFrames or redirects to other blog services such as WordPress or Blogger.

What's the point of using tumblr, if it's just the same as you tumblr blog. Why not just use tumblr?
The same thing with redirect. Why use a redirect, when you can just use that other site?

What do you mean by Legacy accounts?
I created an account in Sept 2013. Is that a Legacy accounts?

Hello John

Yola is designed for creating small to medium business websites. We're not a blog provider, but target the needs of entrepreneurs to have a website, often including an online store.

Tumblr is a pure blog provider who doesn't offer to add any other content than blog posts. You don't have pages to provide extra content, such as image galleries, contact forms, maps, etc., and you can't run an online store on Tumblr.

So the point of embedding your Tumblr blog into your Yola website is to add that extra information about your company for your customers. If you follow our steps on how to optimize your Tumblr blog for search engines, embedding your Tumblr blog can help you get better search results because of adding regular fresh content through your blog. And while a blog is just a blog, adding your Tumblr blog to your Yola website makes it complete and provides all your company content in one place, which will be beneficial for your customers. I hope that makes sense.

We discontinued our own basic blog feature a while ago, and it wasn't available any more in September 2013. This means that you don't have a legacy account.

However, you'll be able to make use of the Tumblr Widget then. I hope this will meet your needs.

No, Yola does not meet my needs, so I'm going some place else.
If I needed a website, it's good. But I don't just need a website, I also need a blog.
But I do not want to go through party to do it.
