how to cancel and refund on yola silver

i am not satisfied with the service and would like to cancel and refund my yola silver package

how do i do this
and i know i get to keep the domain so how do i move it to another host?

only one mailbox, limited storage, difficult to use sitebuilder

other hosts are much better

Thank you for your feedback, Prinolan. Would you mind giving us more details on what you find difficult to use in Yola Sitebuilder? Did you know that you can have more than one mailbox for your domain or just create free unlimited aliases for your existing mailbox?

As long as your domain subscription is running, your domain is yours and registered with our domain registrar partner OpenSRS. You can transfer it away by following the steps of our tutorial: Transfer your domain to a new registrar.

If you would still like to transfer your domain away and get a refund for your Yola Silver package, please let us know, and I will ask our specialists what they can do for you with regard to a refund.

i see that i am not able to transfer the domain away within the first 60 days of it being created ... ? so do i point it in the mean time to another host and then after 60 days request for transfer?

will i be able to access and build my website with another host even though its just pointed?

Hi Prinolan,

Yola's Terms of Service state that there is a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid services, however this does not apply to domain name registration, other domain name services, Yola Premier, Fotolia Image credits and for already redeemed credits.

The 60 day waiting period for domain transfers is standard industry practice, and something that is beyond our control. For more more information on domain transfers please see this tutorial: Transfer your domain to a new domain registrar.

You can definitely build your website with another host, and then point your domain to this host. In order to publish or point your domain with Yola, a hosting subscription is required - either Yola Bronze or Yola Silver. Information on our packages can be found here: Yola Pricing.

What we can do is refund your payment for Yola Silver and Yola Mail, and then you can upgrade to a monthly subscription of Yola Bronze and cancel it when your domain is ready for transfer.

If you would like to do this please let me know and I can process the refund for you.

Yola's customer response SLA is 24 hours for Yola Silver members, and we respond as quickly as our capacity allows. Your refund of $97.96 is currently being processed, and we will let you know as soon as it has been completed. Once this has been done you will be able to upgrade to a monthly subscription of Yola Bronze so that you can point your domain.

You can start creating a site with a new host in the meantime.

I will be in touch as soon as I have an update for you.
