Hello,

Depending on which website template you are using, the background may or may not be able to be edited.

If in SiteBuilder, and you click Style on the bottom bar and "Edit Background" is greyed out, the background can not be edited using SiteBuilder. In the same spot if Edit Customer CSS is greyed out, that template can't be modified by doing css edits.

To edit by "Edit Background", click Edit Background link, select a new "Background Fill" color. For a new background image, click "Upload" to upload the new image, then click "Tile", check box for "Apply to All Pages" and click "ok"

To edit CSS, first upload the new background image you want to use to your Page > File Manager location. Then click "Style", click "Edit Customer CSS", click "Enable Site CSS Overrides", and copy everything from the "Site CSS" tab on the right to the blank window on the left. Then in the CSS code on the left locate the "div#sys_background" identifier. The code may be slightly different than the code that follows the "div#sys_background" example below. Locate the div#sys_background line that says "background-img url. Change the http address listed to "resources/YourUploadedImageFileName.png".

div#sys_background {
width:100%;
height:400px;
position:relative;
background-image: url(resources/IMAGEname.png);
background-color:#999999;
background-repeat:repeat-x;
background-attachment:scroll;
background-position:top center;
}
