How do I customize the color of the navigation links on my site? While I can customize the colors of links I create, I am unable to change the color of the navigation links that I set up for the site. How can I change the color of these links?

Hello Julie.shah

Unfortunately the font color of the navigation is set by the style and cannot be changed. You do have the option to create your own navigation using either text links or image links though. Here is more information on how to do this: How can I change my navigation font color, size or location?

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

try adding html to the edit menu area... I forgot if it works with the menu, but I know you can do this with the heading....

<!--

<span color="#ff0000">Menu Item Name</span> or

<span style="color:#ff0000">Menu Item Name</span>

-->

It's possible one of these may work as I know they do in the heading

I'm a bit confused about making new text links. Do I have to use multiple text widgets for each "home" "about us" "FAQ" or just one with the spread out?
Then once I have it where I want it...how do I make them clickable?

Thanks

Hi Jes,
If you are making your own navigation then it is up to you if you would like to use one Text Widget and space the text links out, or multiple Text Widgets. To make a text link you can follow the instructions on this link: Creating text links.

Well yes I am because I read you can't change the color of the templete fonts. That causes my biz name to blend into my photo i'm using. So if I use one text widget, space out the words....how do I know what url to add for the link to work?

Hello Jes,

What you would do is highlight the word you want to make the link, and then use the link option on the Edit Toolbar. The very fist option when the dialogue opens is to link to a page on your site, so then you just look for the page and choose that, the text will then be linked to that page. Then do that for the others as well. Hope that helps!
