Hello Scarlett,

When choosing a domain name, it is best if 15 characters or less and no more than 3 words. It could be longer (max length is 67 characters) but shorter makes it more memorable. If possible, your domain name should be your company name so that it is easier for customers to find your site. If your company name is already taken, the next best choice is your most important keyword (the search word customers would search for to find your site).

.com and .net are the best types to use. .org is most often used by the non-profit sector. Other types of top level domains (.like, .info, .biz etc) are often associated with spammers.
