I don't understand, I always can get indexed with google for a brand new website within 3-4 days or sooner with the seo strategies I use. I decided to try out Yola, but I can not host it with Yola because the site is for a small client of mine and I need ftp access.

Unfortanetly the coding of the site I downloaded and uploaded to my own server does not get indexed quickly like my other sites! Is there something I should know about the way Yola codes the website or the robots.txt?????

I'd like to recommend Yola to others but I don't know.... there must be something when it comes to hosting it on your own server. It does not take weeks or months to get indexed. Any other experts out there that can give a little info?????

Hello Ron,

When you download your site and upload it to a new server there isn't anything different between that code and if it was still in our environment, and there is also nothing in the robots.txt file that prevents a search engine from spidering and indexing your site.

Our users are definitely getting their sites indexed, so I cannot say for sure what is causing the time delay for you. I would suggest continuing to implement the SEO practices you mentioned. Wish I had a more concrete answer for you.

Here is a link to our SEO Tutorials if you would like to check them out.

Kind Regards,
