Simple question, I know. but...
How do i change the background image for my website, is there an html code to do so?
For example I am using the dirtylicious royal blue style.. Can I change the gray rocky background?
Dirtylicious is one of the styles that does not allow the background to be changed. We have a style guide here: http://www.yola.com/yola-style-gallery where you can see which ones have customizable backgrounds.
To change the background:
1) Click on Style.
2) Click on Edit Background.
3) Choose a color and/or image and image placement in the editing box.
4) Save and publish.
You could add the following code to a HTML Widget at the top of the page. (Without the <!--- and --->)
background:#E7E7E2 url('templates/Dirtylicious_Blue/resources/common/images/body.jpg') no-repeat center top;
Change either the background:_____ (colour) or the url linl to an image on your File Manager. To make it repeat across the page, after the links closing bracket, add: repeat:x and for it to repeat down the page use: repeat:y. For it to do both, use: repeat:x repeat:y.
You can also change the layout of the background. using left, centre right for a vertical alignment and top middle bottom for horizontal.
