Hello xboxclips

I opened the URL you provided, and I'm not sure what the bit at the bottom you mean actually is – could you describe it a little more or add arrows/boxes to the picture to show the exact area? Thanks.

You could recreate the news bit at the side like shown in the example by first using the column divider widget to split the page into two. Drag the divider to the right, to get the right width. Then use a couple of custom panel widgets to create the boxes on the right.

To create the actual news content, you could start a separate blog page, where you post the news. Then use a free HTML news feed gadget such as this one: to display short snippets + links to the most recent articles.

Sorted thanks very much, I meant that they have put a line at the bottom of there page and then added text and lines to create it and changed the background on the lower half of the page where it is split

To get to the footer of your site you do need Silver. You can approximate this by the use of text widgets to add additional information but requires forcing the widget to the lowest part of your site.Without Silver you can't replace the footer text already there. You cannot replace information displayed within the footer that violates the TOS of Yola.
