A few questions from a new user:
1. How do I delete uploaded files that aren't needed now?
2. Can I insert a new page between two existing pages?
3. Can I control what text appears for a music file? (that is, instead of filename, size, etc)
4. I can create a folder but haven't figured out how to put a file into it.

Hi bruce

Hopefully I can help answer some of the questions you've asked.

1. To delete uploaded files, you need to go into your file manager, then on the file you want to delete, right-click and select "delete". To delete more than one file, you can hold the ctrl key down and select all your files and then right-click and choose delete.

2. To insert a new page between two existing pages, go to your "edit menu" and then click on the page you want to move and drag it to its new location. The order that you see in your edit menu, is the order it will show up on your navigation menu.

3. I don't think you can change the text for your music file if you use the file icon.

4. Once you've created your folder, double-click on your folder (this will open it) and then click on "upload files".

Please let us know if you need further clarification. =)

Thanks Littleus!

Bruce, if you would like more info adding music players to your site, click on this link (if you don't want to use the file widget):

In addition to Littleus' steps, we also have a tutorial on using the File Manager:

I'm having a problem opening the new folder i created, the URL is: http://bangtidychildrenshomes.yolasit...

it simply dosnt open when i double click it, if i log in to another site that isnt a sub domain such as it works.

is it the case that you cannot manage files including opening them on sub-domain sites?

Hello Daniel,

I took the liberty of going into your Sitebuilder for your site to see how your File Manager was behaving for me. I was able to open up your "img" folder without any troubles. I am using Google Chrome.

Can you please let me know what browser and version you are using?
