How do I move an object, say an image gallery that I already have created and edited, from one page to another page?

Hello paudemugwort,

This can be done but is a delicate process. If you can identify the complete HTML code by viewing the source code, copying this and then pasting it into your other page through an HTML widget or through a text widget via the HTML option, you may be able to do this. It can work but can be quite finicky when it comes to exact placement.

Another less likely option is to rename the page to that you wish to see the object in. This of course will remove the original occurrence.

Thirdly make notes of the widget details and reproduce this on the other page. This is probably the most reliable method and is specific but means that you essentially are recreating the original widget.

Thank you for your help, Gop. You have given all relevant options.

Hi paudemugwort,

I wouldn't recommend the first option if you are not familiar with HTML. But the second and third option are the best way to go.

The second option is useful if you have not yet created the page where you want to move an object to.

  1. Go to the page where the object is on.

  2. In the Sitebuilder menu bar, click on Page > Save Page As.

  3. Create the new page using the dialogue box. All content from the page where you clicked "Save Page As" will be copied to the new page.

  4. Preview your new page and check if everything is fine and working as desired.

  5. Go back to the initial page and delete the object you wanted to move.
