How can I put my address along the bottom of my website? I want to add a long rectangle text box that I can put one long line along the bottom of the site, but I'm not able to add it. How can I do this? I have included a screen print of my site.

At the bottom below the two columns is where I would like place the rectangular text field.

Hi Bob,

Drag in a text widget then add this code through its html editor...
<!--

<div style="width: 100%; border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;"><br></div>

-->
It's hard to tell from the screen shot but I thought it might be best with a white border if you need it another color change the #FFFFFF. Also if it's to big then change the 100% to a px value e.g. 500px.

If you want any help getting it customised just ask.

Lee.

Thanks Lee,

Bob, You might also want to change your layout to two-over-one so you can have your text in the center.

Here is how to change the layout of your page:

1. Log in to your site and go to the site you are working on in your site builder.
2. Click on the second button which that says "Change Layout".
3. Select your layout from the dropdown list.

You will now have a page with your new layout. Just note that the layout will only apply to the page you are working on. You will need to add new layouts page by page.

We also have a great tutorial here: Selecting the page layout .

I hope this helps.

Thanks Duke and Jeremy,

I would like to keep the same look and structure of my page and that is why I didn't change the "layout". I've tried dragging a "text widget" over to the bottom of the page, but I'm not able to do this.

Another Screen Shot

This is where I would like to set the Test Widget. As you can see I'm only able to hover with a Do Not Write icon.

Here you'll see that I'm able to put the text widget in the left column above where I want to (hovering green field), but not below the two columns.

You need to first do what Jeremy says and change the layout, it wont effect the top part of you page but it will allow you to use the whole page at the bottom.

Choose '2 over 1'

Hello Bob

I hope that the above information helps! Here's one more suggestion that you could also use:

I suggest using the Column Divider widget which is located on the Widgets Sidebar. If you keep your site as an 1 column layout, and drag a Column Divider widget onto the page, then you can create a layout that specifically meets your needs.

You can add more Column Dividers into an existing Column Divider widget - giving you the ability to create 3 or more columns.

To add content to the columns, you can then drag the other various widgets (ie Text, Image, etc.) into the various columns.

You can add a Text Widget below your Column Divider for your footer.

I hope this will help you create a layout you like.
