My website is www.campatet.com.
I have tried to make a subdomain called wdproject.campatet.com. I did all the steps on the how to make a subdomain page. Now, when I go to the subdomain, I get a
Your domain is pointing to Yola!
message. The message want's me to publish the subdomain. I guess this problem isn't exactly your company's fault. With all the recent updates to the sitebuilder, I'm running circles looking for a publish to subdomain button. I've seen that other people have asked the question, but those are all out of date. So can you please give me the current instructions on how to publish a subdomain? I have Yola Silver by the way.

Hi Kevin. If the page is on the same website as the campatet.com website you wont be able to publish one page to a sub domain. I suggest that you create another website, an then set up your sub domain with that Yola site. If you already have the page, you want the sub domain to, all made, then, just copy the page and try to re create it. I am sorry that there isn't a feature where you can publish one page on your website to a sub domain. You could post this as an idea and maybe they'll consider it :)

Hope this helps.

Hi Kevin

Here's some further details on how to set up subdomains with your Yola bought domain:

If you have a domain purchased from Yola you can create subdomains using the Advanced Domain Settings and setting up A Records, here's how:

1. Login to your Yola account and make sure you are on the "My Sites" page.
2. Click on "Domains" and then click on "Advanced domain settings".
3. Make sure the correct domain name is selected on the drop-down list on the right.
4. To access the A Record, click on "Change your DNS settings".
5. To add an A Record, click on "Add DNS Record".
6. Under "Name" add the subdomain you would like to use (eg. group).
7. Under "Value" add Yola's IP address (184.72.229.176).
8. On the second A Record, under "Name" add *.name (where name is your subdomain) and the IP address is the same.
9. Your subdomain is then available as www.group.mysite.com (for example).
10. You will be able to publish a new site to that subdomain by choosing "Use my Domain" when clicking on "Publish my site to the web".

For more information on accessing the DNS Settings on your domain, please view this tutorial: DNS for your Yola domain.

Please note: Changing your domain settings can result in your site no longer working. Please be sure you understand the consequence of the changes you are making.
