Hi Roxy

You can add a Google search box with Google Gadgets:

1. Open the widgets folder - in the side bar at the right of your screen.
2. Drag and drop a Google Gadgets widget onto your page.
3. A dialogue box will open up with a link to Google Gadgets. Click on this link.
4. You will then be taken to Google Gadgets, find a search box, customize it as desired and copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the dialogue box in SynthaSite.
That's it, you will have a search box embedded into your site.

If you want a search box that searches the content of your site only, you can use the one provided by Google Adsense, of make use of a service such as: If you have your own search box code, you can embed it in your page by dragging and dropping an HTML widget onto your page and pasting the code over the default code in the HTML editor.

I hope this helps. Good luck with the grand opening of your website!

Best wishes

Hi Carla

If you add a widget like the Google Gadget's widget, a dialogue box will open with a place for you to click through to their website and also paste their code that you have copied from their website.

Here's a picture of the dialogue box that will open after adding a Google Gadget widget:
